I added the latest version of the HAMVOIP software. Thanks to the hard work of Doug WA3DSP and others the setup of the node was easy and it works well. It originally used a Baofeng UV-5R with a mag mount mobile antenna running .5 watts and the Advance Repeater Systems Allstar USB Interface. Here is a photo of the original node:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/n3fhw.us\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_1779.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1603\" src=\"http:\/\/n3fhw.us\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/11\/IMG_1779.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1779\" width=\"300\" height=\"171\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As of November 2015, the node is running 5 watts off of my Kenwood TM-D710 to a dual band vertical in the attic.
